Well yesterday started off as a good day...Friends call me up about 11am and wake my from my drunken sleep, tell me that we are meeting at 1:30 at "the spot". Usually, every sunday we go to "the spot" and chill, stunt, and ride fiddys. It was such a nice day yesterday the we decided...F the spot, let's hit the mountains. So we had a nice little group...about 12 people (more than I'm comfortable riding with) and we started our journey. We took some backroads up to Skylinedrive/211 and on the way there, a newbie rider riding in the back of the group hit some gravel and went off the road into a creek. He got REAL lucky as there was only about a 4 foot gap..trees on one side, bridge on the other.. He went straight through the gap into the water..No one saw him, but 3 people were knee deep in the creek helping him get his bike out after he didn't show up about 5 minutes after we got to the end of the road. After they got the bike out, it was still rideable, and the rider wasn't hurt at all, so we decided to proceed with our journey. It was my first time up to 211, and I had lowered my confidence level since someone had already wrecked an hour prior. But I kept a moderate pace and had a BLAST..After 211 we were on our way home, I was sitting at a traffic light stopped and my friend from pittsburgh was down this weekend visiting with his 04 gixx1k that his girl just bought him for his wedding present. I guess he thought he was in neutral and revved it up, but he was actually in 1st gear and wheelied right into the back of my bike..Niether of us went down, and I thought he had just hit my tire...then I see my taillight on the street, then I turn around and see my tail cracked...Then I go pull over and inspect a little closer, and notice a HUGE dent in my beautiful ARATA :(. Only thing that happened to his bike was a cracked front fender. Anyways, I took some pics of the damage last night..kinda hard to see, but you get the idea..

PS. if anyone knows if or where I can get an Arata can by itself, let me know...I have a feeling I'm going to be getting a whole new exhaust...

I am sorry to hear about the damage but I am glad that everyone is ok. You having him buy new plastics or having them repaired? The repair cost is very cheap all depends on the paint cost. The tail light, sleeve, and confidence are not good currently. :2bitchsla

I do have to say those are some NICE rims!!

Be Safe

That's just part of the game, and it could have been worse. I wouldn't let it bother me--it's not like he tried to run into you--accidents happen. Bikes are fixable/replaceable.......friends aren't always the same way.

Get it fixed and I'm sure it will be something you two laugh about in the future.

Sux dood! But it sounds like your boy needs to work on his skills. Instead of holding his nutz how about putting a foot in his ass so just maybe it will not happen again. Tell him to leave the revving shit for B&N squid night!! :D

And if you want your tires "gummed" up drop the airpressure and take it to the track! Please do not take any chances on 211. As I am sure you know, being from this area, that road is HOT!! :fire
